QUALITIES OF THE PUPIL'S CHARACTER AND BEHAVIOR

Summary/Abstract: Every day we witness disturbing media reports concerning development of various forms of asocial behavior among the pupils in primary and secondary schools both worldwide and in our country. These drastic examples warn us that we must pay full attention to behavior of our pupils. If appearance of any form of undesired behavior is noticed on time,we can contribute to its obstruction and to prevention of its development. Having in mind that the character is a social concept and that it is developed under the influence of social environment, it is justified to ask ourselves how to contribute to the development of desirable forms of behavior and to forming of character with positive virtues. Home upbringing and school as an educational institution have significant role in forming personality of every pupil. Advantages that schools offer including their many contents should be fully considered and continualy realized.
