Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the role of folk art in the formation of ethnic identity in the modern world. Art as part of the ethnic and human culture are inextricably linked to the processes taking place in society and serves as one of the manifestations of ethnic and cultural consciousness personality factor that defines the range of values.
