Summary/Abstract: In this article, we tried to describe briefly the geography, the history of the area of Akhyska, the history of the migration of the Turks of Akhyska to Central Asia, and the role of the Turkish diaspora in the socio-cultural life of Kazakhstan. The Akhyska Turks had been departed to Kazakhstan in Soviet period, so they became an integral part of our country. The paper considers the problems of demographic situation during last 70 years, modifications in the way of their life. In the article used the texts of the colloquial speech of the representatives of the Turks of Kazakhstan, written and transcribed by the author of the article within the framework of the project ,,Interaction of languages and cultures of the Turkic peoples of Kazakhstan”.
