Summary/Abstract: The staff potential of archives in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the basic premise of the successful development of the archival service. Namely, with material and spatial assumptions, the staff is a key factor in the successful functioning of the archives. Therefore, this paper aims to present the current state of human resources potential, compares them with the situation from 1991, and determine the personnel needs of archival service of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with current needs, or archival standards. Various methods were used: method of survey,statistical method, comparative method, method of analysis and synthesis, inductive method, etc.
