Summary/Abstract: The paper examines in historical and current aspect the specifics in the legal regime of conducting public procurements by the public higher schools in Bulgaria. On basis of the analysis are brought out periods in the legislative development of awarding public procurements by the higher schools and marked problems and tendencies.
