Summary/Abstract: The article reflects on the necessity of digital literacy in the contemporary primary school. The main aspects of its development are pointed out. Some educational topics for lessons are outlined. Teaching and learning about digital literacy is presented in two broad theoretical frameworks: individual-centered and social-constructivist.
