Summary/Abstract: This article discusses multiword lexical units according to the thesis of different linguists. Many linguists consider W. Winogradow’s work about word units, created in the ‚40s, to be a starting point for further research on connectivity issue, which is one of the most importantin the case of multiword units. The appearance at the current stage of research about kinds of terms such as collocation or reproduct created numerous definitions containing more and more new features of the given concepts. The goal of this article is to present and systemize the current terminology.
