The paper also focuses on the legal aspects of the status of foreigners in the Slovak Republic in the context of the integration processes. The article includes an explanation of the so called law on aliens, selected aspects of the Act on Asylum, the Act on the Residence of Aliens, and the Act on Citizenship. The article also introduces the possibilities of enforcing certain rights which are part of the state’s integration policy.
