Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. The purpose of the article is to determine the basic principles of working on the development of the stage voice, to characterize the professional qualities of the artist's voice, its signs and methods of working on it. Methodology. The methodology of the research consists in the application of analytical, functional, art criticism, system research methods, principles of work on voice formulation, its development, analysis of professional features of the speech apparatus, means and methods of eliminating the shortcomings of the vocal apparatus. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty consists in approbation of innovative developments on the issues of voice speech of future specialists of stage art and theoretical substantiation of the necessary criteria for professional mastering of them, as well as mastering the principles of working on the development of voice in the artistic and creative process. Conclusions. As a result of the study, the following findings could be figured out. Mastering the principles of work on the development of voice, its formulation and preservation of the professional qualities of the speech apparatus as the essential task of the masters of the theatrical art. The artist needs such a voice-talking apparatus, which would thoroughly and reliably convey the inner essence of oral action as a necessary composite dramatic art.
