Summary/Abstract: There is ≪ certain concurrence between the fields of research of dialectology and stylistics. Some examples are provided by the description of stylistic determinants of dialectal utterances, the functioning of dialectisms in various forms and varieties of Polish, the stylistic differentiation of dialectal texts or the occurrence of dialectal elements in literary texts.
