Summary/Abstract: EU member countries in 2000 – the Lisbon Strategy, in order to create a new company which they called a "knowledge society" ("knowledge society"). This type of competitive society, with a high level of social cohesion, which is mainly based on human resource development and use of knowledge in all activities and social sectors. In this context, the EU member state, Romania aims to substantial gaps in human resources development, but also to achieve the standards expected by mid-2015 Lisbon Strategy.
