Summary/Abstract: Fight against fraud and corruption threaten international financial interests of the European Union is a long-term community project.The process of protecting the Community’s financial interests means to detect and monitor fraud in customs and tax evasion to the extent that they affect the EU budget, the fight against corruption and other illegal activities affecting the European Union general budget.Within the European Union there was created a suitable institutional framework to implement the objectives of protecting the Community’s financial interests.
