Summary/Abstract: The author begins his analysis of the genesis and the development of the social, economic, and political crisis in Yugoslavia by stressing the variety of its nations and the varied historical experiences that usually did not stimulate cooperation. The different historical experiences and national interests were also made part of the common stte proclaimed in 1918.
