Summary/Abstract: The article unveils the transcendental nature of consciousness in classical Buddhism. The specifics and structure of psyche in Abhidharmistic philosophy is clarified. The unsubstantialistic character of dharms is formulated. The paper also presents the structures of Buddhistic subjectivity, as well as the significance and functions of Buddhistic “contemplation” (dhyana) are revealed.
