Disclosing Information on People in Public Office in the Practice of Local Governments

Summary/Abstract: It is important to specify the group of people concerned and to list information that may be disclosed. The purpose of this text is to discuss the rules of access to information concerning people in public office and to specify the criteria for deciding who should be included into a specific group and which information can be disclosed as information on a person in public office and related to this office and public function. The findings are mostly based on the analysis of numerous decisions of administrative courts.
