Summary/Abstract: The present article reflects upon the role guided tours may have in a museum today. It is conceived as a case study focusing on the temporary exhibition Romania in the Great War (organized by the National History Museum of Romania and coordinated by dr. Ernest Oberländer-Târnoveanu and dr. Cornel Constantin Ilie). It proposes an interactive guided tour which makes use of games and quizzes in order to increase the dynamics and the interest in the information that has to be transmitted. It addresses a public of pupils aged between 10 and 14.
