Summary/Abstract: The Greek-Romanian gospel was printed by hieromonk Antim Ivireanul. It was printed in 1693 in Greek and Romanian on good quality paper, with text on two columns, many original ornaments and four engravings depicting the four evangelists. In 2016, before being exhibited as “Object of the month” at the National History Museum of Romania, a restoration intervention was performed with the aim of removing the existing water stains. The book was unbound and then the leaves were re-sewn in their original covers. Only the spine was replaced with one of the same material and colour
