The Influence of IT Projects on Enterprise Effectiveness

Summary/Abstract: In their literature studies researchers actively explore areas linked to the influenceof IT projects on enterprise effectiveness, as well as national and global economies.One of the crucial motifs behind this is an attempt to address the question of how and whyinvesting in modern IT technologies increases enterprise effectiveness and productivity.The scope of this article is to analyze the influence of IT technology, including IT projects,on enterprise effectiveness. The authors would like to focus on IT projects consisting inimplementing management information systems, using literature study as their researchmethod. The first part of the article discusses the nature of IT projects and their role in enterprisemanagement. The second part of the article presents a literature review discussingthe influence of IT projects on enterprise effectiveness.
