Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the methods and techniques that may be used by a ProductOwner in e-business projects managed with the Agile Approaches. The Product Owner usually works as a liaison between Business Stakeholders, users and the DevelopersTeam. Therefore he carries, most of the activities they carry out are interdisciplinaryin their nature. On the one hand, they require skills in vision statement specification,which should be highly correlated with business goals and a good understanding ofbusiness model issues, and on the other hand, Product Backlog planning and determiningthe order of the system’s features implementation focused on business value. Whatis more, the Product Owner is often the main driver of innovation, showing how the ICTmay be used for increasing the firm’s competitive advantage. The paper suggests howto extend classical Product Owner toolbox with new methods and techniques supportingthe planning and development of innovative Internet business models.
