Summary/Abstract: This article examines the issue of self-cognitive abilities in students who participate in the “Domestic economics and skills” class. It includes a theory section, which covers concepts such as individual student work and cognitive abilities. In addition, it offers a brief analysis of the elementary grade curriculum in Bulgarian elementary schools and the opportunities for personal cognitive development.
