Some considerations on the acquisition of citizenship from the perspective of international law

Summary/Abstract: The author tries to shape the nationality issue from the point of view of international law. Citizenship law is certainly an attribute of the respective state, but the permanent development of international law had as its conclusion the emergence of rules in this area. International jurisdiction also played an important role in nationality law, as an example we only think of the Nottebohm decision of the ICJ in The Hague. The author describes the difficult problems of this area in which he accesses examples, such as The Vatican assigns a kind of citizenship that is very controversial in the literature
