Summary/Abstract: The article presents differentiation and classification of trends in the humanities pedagogical thinking in the period of modernism. The author discusses the relationship between politics, culture and education and its major paradigms in the last period of modernity, which includes three stages: orthodoxy, heterodoxy and heterogenia. The article reveals specificity of theory and specificity of science discourses about education in the world. The autor pays attention to the unequal development of science about education as a result of globalization and the integration of the social sciences and humanities.
