Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the characteristics of works, various artistic events, statements regarding the development of contemporary music culture, proclaimed by a leading contemporary Ukrainian composer Valentyn Sylvestrov during the meetings with the artists and recorded in his book «Wait for the music». The analysis is conducted in the context of semantic principles of the intentional reflection.
