Summary/Abstract: The EU membership obliges each state to be responsible for the implementation of the Union law, i.e.transposition within the deadlines, harmonization and proper application within the national legal system.The directive is a binding legal act for the member states which it addresses with regard to the result to beachieved, while the national authorities remain competent regarding the form and means to obtain it.
