Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to one of the understudied pages of P. Tchaikovsky’s creative activity – his music-criticism heritage. The thematic, genre palette, stylistic features of music-publicist performances of the composer are analyzed. Special attention is given to Tchaikovsky’s Kiev impressions – the reviews on the Kiev Opera and symphonic collections of the Кiev department of the Russian Music Society.
