Summary/Abstract: The quality of working life, as a common ground in organizations, may contribute to organizational effectiveness while increasing organizational commitment. Our purpose was to examine the effects of workload, quality of working life and LMX on organizational commitment, the intention to leave work in a comprehensive model. Data were collected from 506 private security personnel. Findings revealed that employees’ heavy workload condition, has negative effect both on the quality of working life and the quality of the leader-member exchange. The effect of workload on the quality of working life was mediated by leader-member exchange. The quality of working life, organizational commitment have negative effect on the turnover intention. It was found that organizational commitment has negative effect on the turnover intention. Organizational commitment has a partially mediated role in the impact of quality of working life on the turnover intention.
