Summary/Abstract: Psychodidactic themes, which focus their attention primarily on the educational context, have been recently elaborated in many theoretical and research publications. The themes are linked to general didactics, didactics of individual subjects, linguistics, pedagogical psychology, anthropology, neuroscience. Because of that the psychodidactic context of education is a broad-spectrum and interdisciplinary topic, the present contribution deals with the issue of psychodidactic aspects in the context of teaching and learning of foreign languages by adult individuals. Good lecturers are constantly seeking and improving ways to help learners develop their key competencies. Support for lecturers has a chance to be successful, especially if it is systematic, including high-quality theoretical training. The aim is to draw attention to theoretical knowledge and the use of psychodidactic aspects during adult foreign language education.
