Summary/Abstract: Students interest for reading school books is a specific question which belongs to the frames of literal education, more precisely of literal interests. Carried out research has a goal to examine how much do the students of the ending semester read school books and how they expirience the hours in which analyze the school books. In the research participated students from the 8-th and 7-th grade, 136 students together (73 of the 7-th grade and 73 of the 8-th grade).The research results obtained inticate to importance of knowing readership habits, which we should not closely regard as a school activity, planned as a school work program, but as a lifelong need that implies encountering new knowledge, new ways of thinking and living. Reading is an important factor both in the developmental and in the educational process of each person.
