Summary/Abstract: The presented paper focuses on the current research perspectives of liturgical music of the Byzantine-Slavonic rite, its forms and interpretation confronted with the reflections about liturgical music in the music Slavic studies. The knowledge of music-liturgical culture is a relevant part of the interdisciplinary Slavistic research.
