Problems of Youth Employment and Unemployment Policy in Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: The paper regards the public policy on the labor market in Bulgaria aimed at both the young people and the increasing of their economic activity and employment. There were analyzed the main strategic documents, projects and programmes with a focus on the increase of the employment of the young people on the labour market. The effectiveness of the policies for informing and registering of the young persons in the labour offices were evaluated. Conclusions and recommendations were drown on the carried on initiatives and the measures taken in this regard, as well as on the means and the approaches for their future promotion and dissemination. Some good practices from the EU member countries on implementing of employment and integration policies on the labor market were presented.
