Applicability of Operations Management in the Public Sector

Summary/Abstract: Operations management has wide applicability in business, and some of its sections – in the public sector. We claim here, that by implementing the operations analysis and management, Bulgarian public administration could improve its functionality. We focus on topics like identifying the office positions who could take the initiative for applying operations management and reducing the idle time of public officials.
