The contribution to analyzes the multimedia project of the Italian actor Robert Benigni, who retells and plays "Divine comedy" from Dante. Rober Benigni´s conception make up interpretation barrier 20. century, which was constate on historical and ethical conception, by which this art work retreats from recipients. Benigni activates theatricality of Divine comedy in his show, he creates cartoons situations and use vernacular in interpreter apostile, therethrough bring close Divine comedy to audience. He compiles new interpretation conception of 21. century.
