Management Approach and Methodology for Evaluation and Monitoring of the Process of Harmonization of the National Railway System with Railway System of the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The report analyzes the strategic management approaches, tools and alternatives to the harmonization of the national and the European railway system. In the text are displayed the strategic goals and tasks in the context of macroeconomic indicators of the national economy, the state of the national railway sector and the provisions of national and European legislation. Presented is abbreviated version of the author's innovative, unique for both the scientific as well as in professional circles in the European railway sector “Methodology for analysis, evaluation and monitoring of the processes related to the implementation (service) of the technical specifications for interoperability of the trans-European conventional and high-speed railway system in the EU countries (КGR EU Analysis)”.
