Summary/Abstract: The subject of the analysis in the article will be changes in the field of mental health care in area of psychiatry. The analysis will include legal, social and cultural conditions. According to the author, their inclusion is necessary to determine the determinants of institutional change in the area of psychiatric care and the possibility of implementing a model based on environmental psychiatry.
