Summary/Abstract: The study proposes a synoptic vision of post-Second World literature, from the perspective of the relationship between lived memory and imagined memory as sources of fiction and non-fiction. The concepts of person and individual are used to interpret the position of the author’s consciousness towards memory. The study demonstrates that the questioning of the relationships between the lived memory / the imagined memory and the author’s consciousness, in the position of the person or individual, leads to the mentality on which the text is made and its messages are organized, the dominant attitude in speech and the influence it can give in the reader’s consciousness.
