Summary/Abstract: Comparing views expressed by poets and writers of different regions, national, ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds is one of the most important elements in modern literary critique. Comparative literature shows the flow of cultural, literary and inter-cultural exchanges between two or more peoples and it demonstrates how far has the culture of one people or the thought of one artist influenced the world or how much it has borrowed from other peoples or individuals. On the other hand, this aspect of literary review is also an important aspect of intercultural studies, and can easily be listed as one of its very foundations. Fevzi Mostarac is one of the leading Bosnian writers who wrote in Oriental languages, and the influence on his work by Rumi and his Mesnevi can be observed from many aspects and through different approaches. This text used competent references and primary sources to demonstrate that in the fields of elaboration, interpretation and understanding of the concept of the perfect human in Islamic tasawwuf, Fevzi Mostarac was largely influenced by Jalaluddin Rumi and his Mesnevi.
