Summary/Abstract: The article discusses Servaas van Beekum’s attempts of developing graphic separation of structuraland functional models and presents the development of Susannah Temple’s concept of FunctionalFluency (FF) and a psychometric tool called Temple Index of Functional Fluency (TIFF). Italso underlines the significance of this concept in teachers’ and educators’ personal and professionaldevelopment and in the perspectives of educational transactional analysis.
