Summary/Abstract: In this article we emphasized children’s social-moral behavior through value internalization and their emotions as the basis for their socialization. Revealing the data of the research made with 13 teachers and 263 primary school children back in 2003–2004, we showed some peculiarities of emotions and behavior of grieving primary school children. The research showed some negative behavioral peculiarities at the level of internalized values and emotions of those primary school children, who have experienced loss in the family. At the most of the time identification processes of grieving children are laden, and they are often inclined to internalize those values that are not acceptable in the society they are living in. There were some differences among children analyzing their emotions, because grieving children usually more often than others felt anger, sadness, and less frequently – self-confidence and joy. As the conclusion of this research we could state that loss in the family has a great, even negative, influence on primary school children, and affects their behavior including their emotional sphere.
