GREEN LOGISTICS APPLICATIONS: PTT EXAMPLE

Summary/Abstract: Today, especially public in situations and organizations, including governments, civil society organizations, have become private businesses and consumer shave seen that the world's resources at the point of exhaustion and can not ignore the devastating environmental problems. Particularly well it has been in the desire to leave available world for future generations while meeting the needs of today. It has identified new approaches cooperation and have gone the way in solving environmental problems in many countries in order to maintain a sustain able environment concept in this context. Thus, the green movement has spread in all units and activities that damage the environment the least developed applications.In this context, the purpose of the study, PTT green logistics applications in (Post and Telegraph Organization) examines the implementation level. For this purpose, considering the hypothesis of the study theoretical discussions and research findings in the literature are determined. Research hypotheses, which Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul and operates Sultangazi made to employees 58 people at the post unit, the data obtained by survey method waste stedusing SPSS.As a result of the study, green logistics applications are not used too much in the units, the environmental measures are not taken into consideration and the environment is not taken care of.
