Interview with the Translator Mária Albert

Summary/Abstract: The translator Mária Albert, who also teaches at the Târgu Mureș University of Arts, speaks about the possibilities of the university’s translation workshop functioning on the borders of individual and collective work, respectively about the hardships and challenges of translating contemporary drama. We also find out how the collaboration with Lark Play Development Centre enables cultural exchange: American playwrights lead workshops with the students of the university, while texts of Transylvanian writers are presented in readings in the US.
