Summary/Abstract: GSL institutions are the most universal and basic dimension of musical theory training in terms of adopting listening and reading skills, understanding the music, forming knowledge about music and setting ground for other musical studies. GSL music education is a systematic process that forms changes over the individual's musical behavior, ideas and knowing the life and experiencing it. This process occurs by several terms. These are musical hearing training, instrument training, voice training and musical theory training. GSL instrument training-that is quite hard and has to be followed-is a process which needs to be performed in a harmony and collaboration not only by the instructor but also by the student. By reviewing the literature, similar studies, books, articles, symposium notes, publications and dissertations that are related to this research's topic have been analyzed; instrument training issues that are and can be encountered during GSL instrument training are aimed to be analyzed in terms of instructor/student/teaching program and institution problems.
