Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the comparative research ofparticles in two related systems, through a comparison based on richer and more various materials, is to outline and analyze part of the current problems, which have not been solved explicitly in linguistic literature. The emphasis is placed on the characteristics and realization of the pragmatic particles in Bulgarian and Slovak languages.
