Summary/Abstract: The connection between concepts as mental representations and linguistic meaning are being analyzed in the interdisciplinary perspective of philosophy and linguistics. Reference and predication are being discussed regarding their participation in the formation of conceptual content (informational and cognitive). Inferentialism and empiricism regarding concepts and meaning are being studied comparatively. Lastly, the conceptual structure of truth and virtue are being investigated, as well as the nature of metaphor and its meaning.
