Summary/Abstract: The 19th century is a period of significant changes and developments in the history. This change, which has been a ripple wave of politics with the effects of the Enlightenment, the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution, is undoubtedly reflected in all areas of art. Before the writers, poets and musicians, they were the painters of Paris first who opened the way to the big and radical changes in art. Perhaps the only desire of Impressionist painters, who started to paint outside was immortalizing the magical beauty of the Paris city. In this research, the birth of the impressionist movement, the contributions to the art world, the distinguishing features of the artists and artworks of this period, the relations between painting, literature and music have been discussed and presented.
