Summary/Abstract: In this study, we have the aim of examining whether the natural way of soil can be used in slips production with the help of ceramics technology, and whether the result of this study can be applied to artistic ceramics. With the aim in mind, three sort of clay collected from Konya region were studied. They were applied in the way of slips onto the plates made up of low degree red mud and cast mud whose baked color is white. The clays were made to have characteristic by adding % 30-60 melting Cinnabar and Borax. Lined plates were baked in an electrical oven, and for the ones that responded positively, raku and sagar baking techniques were applied. To enlarge color and tissue scales, colorant oxide was added between %1-3 and they were tried in the same baking conditions.
