A Research on the Reflections of Leadership Types on Organizational Structure

Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the research is to determine which leadership style is more correlation-interaction with the organizational structure when the organizational structure is managed. The research population consists of senior and middle level managers at the SMEs (small and medium-sized) in Düzce. Quantitative research methods were utilized in the study and the data were collected by face to face interview technique, a total of 202 surveys were taken for analysis of the data. According to the research findings, senior and middle level managers at the SMEs located in Düzce mostly prefer servant leadership and transactional leadership style and they are most interested in the communication determinant while managing organizational structure. In addition, it has been reached important findings about which leadership style is more relevant to which dimension of organizational structure.
