Summary/Abstract: Semiotics is a scientific discipline that examines verbal, written and communication forms. The signs that are indicative and shown, the ones that symbolize the thoughts and concepts, the other are the plain and side meanings that these signs show. It can be approached as a scientific orientation that researches and restructures the phenomenon of meaning, as well as being a scientific discipline that does not show signs. In this research, images, signs and symbols belonging to the Turkish popular culture, which is found in the painting "Aşık Veysel" of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who has an important place in Turkish painting art, have been tried to be analyzed by the method of semiology. The artist uses the meanings of the motifs used in this work as symbols, and the motifs are now composed in forms and colors other than their own patterns. Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who painted in Western art education and modern art understanding in Europe during the Republican period modernization, directed the images belonging to Anatolian cultures and used local motifs in his paintings with a modern composition understanding. Reflecting the artist's inner world in his poems and paintings; Poems, poems, poems and poems that they use in their works carry rich metaphors. The meaning of these symbols when examined in the discipline of semiotics is the main problem of this study. In this study, the indications of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's "Aşık Veysel" will be examined and attempted to be analyzed with the methodology of analysis.
