Summary/Abstract: Weavings emerging with reasons such as protecting from external factors, decorating the environment, making life easier continue to exist from the past to the present day. They are used for different purposes in every region. The climate and the lifestyle of region are important element from the appearance of the weaves to the purposes of use. Carpet weavings have been woven in various sizes since past because of the existence of the animal husbandry and the harsh weather conditions in Malatya provinces and also its districts having terrestrial climate. The use of their pillow weavings are also very popular in the region. 13 pillow carpet weavings being still use of their in some houses in the Gökderen village of Balaban district of Darende district of Malatya province have been detected. Three pillow weavings from them are the same as the woven pattern, but they are different as used colours in weaving have been added their visuals in this research text. Ten pillow carpet weavings which are different pattern and motifs were given with their visuals and some tecniques information in it. The number of knots and weight of weavings was not measured because the pillow weavings are still used in houses. This research consists of literature reviews, information received through oral interviews from weavers, photographs taken during field research and some technical information belonging to weavings. According to this research result; red, Brown, orange, black, yellow, cumin colour, gray and White are often used colours in pillow weavings. The geometric form used in the patterns of weavings takes attention. Scorpio, vivarium, cypress tree, bird, eye and stylized flower motifs are also the motifs on these weavings.
