Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this study is to prepare “Children with Painters Curriculum” for pre-school children age group of 6 and reveal the influence of this program in changing and developing on perceptions of children towards painting and painters. “Single group pretest-posttest without control group test patern” was used in research. The study group consisted of 16 students, 10 of them were girls and 6 of them were boysa ged 6 continuing to a private preschool education institution in İzmir. The average age of children is X = 64,24 months. During 12-week period between December and February, children were shown artworks belonging remarkable painters of major artistic movements and give information about the construction of the works and the application was made. While the works of the painters were shown, it was aimed that the child to see and examine the artworks, recognize the painters and realize that they can have various approaches in painting. Images obtained at the end of applications were evaluated by content analysis method. As a result of research it has been revealed that the “Children with Painters Curriculum” is effective in changing and developing on perception of children towards painting and painters.
