Regional aspects of the labor market – example of the lubuskie voivodeship (2011–2016)

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present article is presentation, analysis and assessment of regional labour market in Lubuskie Province in the years 2011–2016. Statistical and economic analysis is focused on main aspects of labour market functioning, such as the level, dynamics and structure of employment, the phenomenon of incomplete exploitation of labour resources which takes the form of unemployment, as well as the level and dynamics of remuneration and labour cost. The research performed leads to the conclusion that Lubuskie Province is a region of low employment on nationwide scale. Furthermore, Lubusian labour market is characterized by low unemployment level (unemployment rate comparable to national average) and lower though gradually growing wages and labour costs.
